Kiting, Kite Beach Maui

A trip back in time.  Kite Beach is the first place I learned how to kiteboard.  Can't say I really was able to enjoy it last time I was there since I looked like this

but now I look a bit better :-)

Thanks to the guys at REAL Kiteboarding I got a chance to meet Jimmy Lewis the legendary kiteboard and surfboard shaper.  We went up to his shop on one of the many days without wind since the Trade Winds decided to abandon us :-(

Kiteboarding in Mexico

Okay haven't had time to post lately since I have been doing a lot of posting over at my e85 project, so I thought I would give an update here.  Also haven't had much time to kiteboard given all the work on my new venture, but I did get a chance to kiteboard Los Barilles while I was in Cabo.  I really liked both places.  Barilles was cool because you could drive right out on the beach and go kiting.  Met a couple of people who just drove their campers out on the beach and stayed for a few months!

Raley Comes Home

Yes it is true we got a Puppy. He is a Gordon Setter. Gordons are a fantastic breed. We named him Raley, after the kiteboarding move. He is smart, fun loving and very playful. We got him because we were on a plane flight and met another Gordon Setter who is a search and rescue dog. Here is a picture, but check out the photo album for more
